Sinking Foundation in Lima, Ohio

A general contractor in Lima, Ohio called Forever Foundation Repair to inspect a foundation in Shawnee Township. What he assumed was a sinking foundation was correct; the garage floor was starting to crack and the brick veneer had a 3/4 inch gap in it. The foundation was very deep and when the structure sank, it rolled out away from the house.

Forever Foundation Repair excavated along the foundation to expose the footing. We then installed 7 helical piers and drilled 28 feet deep to load barring soil. Using the helical pier system, we lifted the foundation back in place and closed up the brick veneer crack within a quarter inch. The foundation on this Shawnee home will never sink again!
